One of the most important ingredients of social development in developing countries is the participation of volunteers. Every year, thousands of volunteers arrive in Guatemala and look for ways to help. However, not all of them have strong financial support and for those who stay in Antigua area, life can be expensive.

The goal of the “Volunteers' House Project - Casa de Voluntarios” is to provide a comfortable and economical housing in Antigua.

The minimum stay is 2 weeks and the rent is from Q1200 to Q1500 per month for single room and Q2000 to Q2200 for double room which includes unlimited access to high speed internet. If you have your own laptop, wireless access is available, purified water, coffee and tea.

This house is a place for volunteers to exchange ideas and share their working experience. Activities such as talks, project visits, dinner parties and travel will be organized for those who wish to participate.

But it is also a place for the CasaSito scholarship students where they can use internet for free to do their homework and investigation in our computer lab and in our small library.

All the proceeds from the “Volunteers' House Project” will be used to support the Chocantariy Nursery education program and the CasaSito Emergency Fund.
