"I love the initiative and believe it truly embodies the spirit of social justice through objectively analyzing the lack of communication among groups with the same goals and desires. At USU, we recently started the Social Injustice Coalition (SIC) which works to provide collaboration of service groups on campus. Although the group is quite new it is already proving to be successful!"

Description:

I grew up on a horse and cattle ranch in rural Utah and compete in competitive reining horse competitions. I am currently an Oxfam America Change Leader and I am heavily involved in campaigning for the initiatives of Oxfam at my campus. I am the founder of the Social Justice Club at USU and a co-founder of The Social Injustice Coalition. I also serve as the director of Project Pals- an at-risk youth mentoring program. I love living life to the fullest and learning new things everyday!
