"I come from a school where I see people taking the initiative for action everyday. Posters, flyers, mail, word of mouth, emails and any other form of communication you can think of are used to spread messages. I feel that if things be accomplished on a small scale in a college community then they can be accomplished on a large scale too. I want to get involved because I feel that EVERYONE deserves a chance. Every idea deserves to explored and supported. Sometimes people just need a helping hand to get things off the ground."

Description:
I'm a Freshman in college at the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities. I am currently undeclared with an interest in pschology and social work as well as theatre, media studies, and music (mostly vocal performance). I heard about this conference from my aunt who is attending and I am very excited to learn from the extremly talented peoplewith whom I will be co-facilitating!
