I’m Demian of “DreamSinger”, a songwriting partnership, with Stacey Young, dedicated to writing and performing songs of healing and hope.

I grew up in an abusive home, but though I was impacted by that experience, I am *not* defined by it. I have spent my life on the healing journey, recovering, reclaiming, and sometimes, discovering for the first time my voice and power.

Much of my healing has occurred through the arts, which is, also, an integral part of my spirituality. It is my passion to help others to find their voices and tell their stories, and particularly to help those hurt by sexual abuse throw off the shackles of the stigma surrounding it and, without apology, offer their unique selves and talents to the betterment of our world.

One of my passions is loving my children and grandchildren - I love being a grandmom - and letting others know it's never too late to live your dream or make a difference.

I published my first book and released my first CD in my 49th to 50th year of living and I'm just getting started!

In the past years I have sung at the candlelight vigils in Washington, D.C., for the Tiananmen Square students of '89 and their dreams. I've currently been singing at victims rights vigils - any place where a message of hope and empowerment would be needed.

It's my dream to one day be a musical ambassador of goodwill across the globe.

The underlying theme through all my work is the healing journey, the empowerment of the individual for its own sake and the sake of a vibrant and healthy community. I believe in the interconnectedness of all things and the beauty of the human spirit. I can't begin to tell you how thrilled I am to have discovered this place.
