MAJOR COMPETENCE
Have 22 years of working experience in the field of disaster preparedness and management, relief operation, rehabilitation, social mobilization, Institutional & community development, education for children and adult, integrated rural development, management of micro credit, water supply and sanitation and hygiene promotion.
Being with Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) under its Disaster Preparedness Program (Cyclone shelter and community development program), supervised construction of cyclone shelters and Cluster Villages, distribution of relief materials, community mobilization, training, providing micro credit, health and education program, distribution of khas land.
Have worked in very difficult and natural disaster prone areas such as Sandwip, Hatiya, Nijhumdwip and Chittagong Hill Tracts. Worked in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment. The work required regular collaboration with government departments, Local Government Leaders, traditional tribal leader, NGOs and line agency. Have worked as member secretary of NGOs coordination forum at Hatiya.
Worked with “South Asia Poverty Alleviation Programme”- UNDP an integrated rural development program where the key activities being mobilization of the villagers to village organizations (VOs), linking the VOs with government departments, union parishads, banks and other NGOs operating in the area. In Chittagong Hill Tract WATSAN project implemented water supply and sanitation facilities in collaboration with local government leaders and traditional leaders.
Have expertise in participatory monitoring and evaluation, process monitoring, participatory learning and action (PLA) and participatory action plan development (PAPD).
My employer was BRAC, BDRCS (Swiss &Japan Red Cross), UNDP, Danida and as independent consultant worked with different NGO.
Presently I am working with sasrai-Movement(that promotes prudent and thrifty use and conservation of resources) as Secretariat In-Charge. This a Voluntary Movement and lot of people working as volunteer across the globe.

Please, keep a day in a week luxury free.
Please, plant at least a tree annually in own home or in the community.

Each volunteer will mobilize fund, collect and kept in a transparent pot(simple plastic bottle)
Please keep it as much as open place / never be locked
Everyone could see how much collected
Fund could be spent anytime locally as per decision of local person in favor of sasrai
Please keep income and expenditure sheet beside the box (hand writing is enough)
Named the pot/box/bottle sasrai (hand writing is enough)
Never think about if anyhow someone take the fund Please think “It was her/his due need”
