I have over a decade of experience in proposal writing, fundraising and management in corporate and non-profit environments. I am transitioning between careers and am searching for volunteer opportunities where I can help others while on the path to discovering myself.

Throughout my work, I have acquired skills that have enabled me to work effectively with local, national and international companies and foundations, donors, boards of directors and volunteers. As a director of development, I have been able to hone my writing and marketing abilities which transcend the non-profit world. I have creatively raised money through connecting with others, making presentations to potential donors, writing grant proposals and appeal letters, creating direct mails, email campaigns and informative newsletters, and running successful fundraisers and special events.

As a writer and artist, I have worked in the arts and entertainment industries for several years as a photo stylist, makeup artist, film wardrobe coordinator and most recently, and artist’s assistant.

I am proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and the Internet. I am a fast learner and enjoy discovering new advancements and applying them to my life.

On a personal level, I am an ordained priestess and am legally able to perform marriage ceremonies within the City of New York (all five boroughs). I am on a spiritual Wiccan path and would love to combine this passion with my professional skills (but that’s not a requirement for volunteering). Some of my issues of interests include:
