Description:
As Founder and President of the Alzheimer's CURE Foundation, Inc., www.alzcure.org, I am constantly putting together new programs that are meant to fulfill our mission, which is to dramatically accelerate the cure for Alzheimer's disease.
Our organization is a groundbreaking, public, 501(c)(3) non-profit employing a model never before applied to medicine. We are introducing the concept of healthy and vibrant competition to the medical and scientific community with a major cash-prize at the finish line. Our goal is to raise and award a $20,000,000 cash prize that will go to the first scientist who discovers the cure for Alzheimer's disease.
One of these programs reaches out to students and helps them build creativity, self-confidence and experience while at the same time helping us with our fundraising. Another program, our Alzheimer's Prize sponsorship Program, is meant to be directed towards the corporate world, allowing them to sponsor the Alzheimer's Prize.
This is just a thumbnail of what my day-to-day activities are while running this organization.
