I am most passionate about environmental issues, the effects of global warming, and ANYTHING dealing with animals. I am involved in many sites and organizations online that contribute to these causes.
I also have interest and a decent amount of knowledge in the medical field. I have Cystic Fibrosis and, therefore, have dealt with health issues my entire life. After a bi-lateral lung transplant in 2002, I began volunteering with the local chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation particpating in countless public presentations to promote awareness of this chronic, life-threatening disease and encouraging individual and corporate participation in, and sponsorship for, CF fundraisers and events.
Other areas of interest include international travel, psychology, paranormal, the arts, historical sites.
There are MANY other ares that, as a whole, I may not have a strong interest in, but do have STRONG opinions on specific issues that, given the opportunity, would LOVE to share! These range from gay and lesbian issues to laws and government reform to MANY aspects of healthcare insurance for the disabled and the elderly.
