Description:
I have an MA in Anthroplogy and completed PhD coursework. I specialized in applied and medical anthropology with a focus on healthcare and community development. I've conducted research on healthcare in the Middle East, Africa, and the U.S. (including HIV/AIDS, addiction, family planning, and veteran's issues). For the past 5 years I've been working in the corporate world conducting research on emerging technologies and international issues for a large R&D organization. I would like to find jobs or volunteer opportunities where I can use my anthropology skills to assist projects, especially projects involved in heatlhcare, diaster relief, and/or community and economic development.
