Description:
I have been traveling solo in Argentina since September 2007, staying in towns for months at a time, in order to learn the language and conscience of the people. I was an AmeriCorps Volunteer in Portland, OR my last year in the States, and would like to find similar opportunities abroad. As an AmeriCorps Volunteer, I recruited volunteers and started an afterschool literacy and math program for a low-income housing project.
