Description:

I have twenty years experience in sales & marketing in the private sector, and fifteen years experience working with a variety of local non-profit community based Org’s.

A quick summary:

15 yrs in real estate sales:
7 yrs working in brokerage, mostly doing on – site residential leasing.
6 yrs in commercial real estate sales
3 yrs working as a residential leasing agent for a management firm (I also worked with the property managers doing bldg inspections, looking for housing code violations, accompanying contractors, etc)

5 yrs in retail sales for a nationwide wireless carrier.

I have worked with a variety of non – profit Org’s (all community based groups).

I would prefer to work for a non – profit Org., but I would consider working for a company in the private sector, if the position matches my interests & skills.

Ideally, I am looking for something where I will have diversified responsibilities.
Ex: I enjoy writing & placing classified ads (and press releases) for events that Org’s sponsor. I also enjoy presenting to community groups.

If you own (or manage real estate), and need someone to market your asset, I enjoy making deals.

While I am NOT looking for a sales position, I recognize that working in community relations (or asset mgmt) involves “indirect” selling. With non-profits, your first priority is to the goal is to keep the Org’s mission in mind (Money earned for the non-profit helps to increase the amount of services it can offer to the community).

In this competitive job market, I believe that the way to get, and keep, the right position is to show that you can create more market demand. To that end, I enjoy finding new niches that the Org hasn’t filled yet.

Provided that I am working for the right cause, I have passion, and tenacity, and have seen first hand the rewards of the three "P's"- Persistence, Patience & Professionalism.

At work, I strive to be the “go-to’ person, who people consult if they want advice on creative ideas to improve the work flow.

I also enjoy solving problems (especially problems which call for creative solutions eg: “thinking outside of the box”).

If I believe in the mission of the org, 9-5 doesn’t exist. I might be at home, checking out the web at 11:30 PM, and come across a website, news article, or commentary that has relevance to the Org. Typically, I find that there is something which I could use as a tie- in to the Org I represent. I then write my response in a way which will captures the reader’s interest.

Please include your URL with your response. I am looking for a salaried position with benefits (preferably with performance based bonus).

I look forward to hearing from you.
