My name is Chanelle Carver and at the young age of seven, I made a commitment to myself and parents that I would change the world. Ever since, this has been my sole mission in life.
In 2006, I founded the Literacy 'n' Poverty Project, a startup nonprofit organization that works to alleviate poverty and improve adult education worldwide. Our vision: to become an international social enterprise furthering the personal and professional advancement of adults, ensuring all have access to a quality education, and the resources, skills and experiences needed to succeed in life.
My passions include improving access to and quality of education for adults, international relations, economic development, and human rights issues, among many others.
