Assistant Folktale Narration Coordinator

Unpaid volunteers, 2-5 hours per week, 3-6 months, remote.

Anike Foundation is developing narrated versions of its widely popular African folktales. We need volunteers to coordinate the narrations. The Assistant Folktale Narration Coordinator will perform the following tasks:

  • Obtain audition recordings from folktale narrators
  • Obtain script and instructions from the animation artist
  • Send script and specific instructions to selected narrators
  • Receive narrations from narrators and put them in a designated location where they are accessible to the animation artist and the President.
  • Provide feedback comments to narrators.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelors degree
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel)
  • Familiarity with Google Drive
  • Ability to relate with people of diverse cultures

Desirable Qualifications/Skills

  • Enthusiastic team player
