Veteran Volunteers

Heartland Hospice is seeking veterans of the armed forces who are interested in volunteering to serve other veterans who are in hospice care. Your visit to a fellow veteran may provide them the opportunity to talk about their life and military service in a way they can't share with anyone who hasn't also served. Our veteran volunteers also assist in honoring fellow veterans at pinning ceremonies and participate in social activities for veterans at area assisted living facilities and senior centers.
