Description:
Year round we are looking for volutneers to fill these positions throughout Colorado.
Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) is a highly effective international conflict resolution program which is a lot of fun and a great learning experience. It offers two and three day experiential workshops for adults and mature youth. Based on the nondenominational spiritual principle of Transforming Power, the focus is on examining roots of violence, community-building, communication skills, and affirmations. Additional volunteers are urgently needed. A person must be 21 years of age in order to participate in the prison workshops.
How to Apply:
Contact Khadija Qadri at 303-825-2562 or nfnc@earthlike.net. It is helpful to send a resume and statement of what makes you interested in volunteering in this program.
