Description
River Bank Credit is a microfinance institution (MFI).River Bank Credit contributes to development through provision of reliable and affordable financial services to entrepreneurs for wealth creation and improved livelihoods.


River Bank Credit Goals
• Provide appropriate loan products to small holder farmers and micro/small entrepreneurs
within the target operational areas.
• Provide the mobilization of savings (Collatel deposits) among the clients.
• Provide business training to target clients through a cost sharing agreements to develop their capacities.
• Increase Clients outreach, household/business income and improve their asset base.

Qualifications:
The volunteers should have:
Experience in microfinance development and be prepared to help the organization grow and formulate better policies that will help both the organization and the farmers.
Costs
100 Euros- Registration fee and 300 Euros Monthly

The volunteer will be accommodated in a home stay where he or she shall have a chance to interact with the African family and have a cultural exchange experience. The food provided shall be what is locally available and if the volunteers want anything outside of these they shall have to provide for themselves.
Duration:
The volunteers have a chance to be in the placement for 3, 6 or 12 months
