Description:

By using current technology, you can be face to face with an orphaned or HIV/AIDS affected child in South Africa once a week for half hour conversations. Exchange email, do homework, draw or play games together as you become the special adult in a child's life. All Video Mentors are trained online and supported in learning about the history, culture and situation of each child's life, as well as the technology used for interactions. Volunteers must be culturally sensitive and pioneering individuals who are at least 21 years of age. Must have high-speed internet access and be comfortable using email and the internet.
