Description:
CHILD HEALTH SERVICES: This position will coordinate the Covering Healthy Kids Project ensuring healthcare to every qualifying child. Additional program description involves tracking the progress of children entering kindergarten through first grade. Developing enrichment projects and maintain databases.
The City of Manchester AmeriCorps *VISTA Project is seeking individuals who would like to provide a year of service by making a difference in the lives of people living in poverty. In return for a year of service, participants have the opportunity of meeting new people, gaining hands-on experience and sharing in the rewards of a meaningful contribution to the War on Poverty.
Compensation is in the form of a yearly stipend of $10,906.20 (paid weekly). Upon completion of a year of service, an educational award of $4,725 or a cash award of $1200 choice is provided. These positions are full time and any other paying job is prohibited during the year of service.
