New York State Senate Democrats

The State Senate Democrats are fighting for affordable health care, living wage jobs, environmental justice, immigrant rights, and good schools for all New Yorkers. We believe that state government should be accountable to all New Yorkers. Our mission is to pass good laws that restore fairness and equality to our society, and good representation to our constituents. Specifically, we aim to raise the minimum wage, increase workers comp, provide universal affordable health care, increase funding to public schools, and strengthen laws protecting the environment, immigrants, union organizers, gays and lesbians, and women.
