Girls Rock Dallas

Mission: Girls Rock Dallas is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering girls and women through the use of music education to promote self-esteem and confidence by providing the opportunity to learn and express their musical creativity.

Our goals are to provide girls in the Dallas area a safe female-oriented place that allows girls to fully express themselves without the worries of negative peer pressures or judgment. Our program will allow girls and women to have access to a music education, thereby cultivating their creative side.

We are currently offering a one week summer day camp to girls ages 8-17. Providing music instruction in guitar, vocals, drums and bass as well as life-skill workshops. The campers will form bands and learn how to write original songs together to perform at the camp's showcase. In 2013 we plan to expand our program to include two summer camps and one Lady Rock Camp.
