Women Empowered

Who WE Are

Women Empowered (“WE”) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization comprised of professional women based in Los Angeles, California and surrounding areas. WE was founded in November 2008 and initially began as a means to connect and befriend other women. The group slowly developed into a philanthropic group. Our volunteer work supports local organizations which include women’s shelters for battered women and women in poverty, and mentorship of young women and girls.

Membership is open to women who are interested in women’s issues, volunteerism, mentoring, and networking. WE combines philanthropy with socializing and networking with women of diverse cultures and backgrounds.
