Colombia Support Network

The Colombia Support Network (CSN) is a non-governmental organization striving to improve the human rights situation in Colombia and build solidarity between the peoples of North America and Colombia. It is the largest grassroots activist-oriented group in the U.S. focusing on Colombian human rights. The Colombia Support Network supports a nonviolent resolution of the conflict in Colombia. CSN helps Colombian human rights organizations, whose members are increasingly threatened, continue their work. One of its essential projects is to establish and maintain sister city relationships with communities in violence-torn regions of Colombia. It also pressures Colombian parties responsible for the violence (paramilitaries, Colombian Armed Forces and Police, guerrillas, urban militias), as well as the U.S. government, to negotiate a peaceful end to the conflict.
