Hope United Church of Christ

Hope Church is a community that nurtures Christian faith in the tradition of the United Church of Christ. We believe in a loving Creator who extravagantly welcomes all, regardless of what we have done or have failed to do in our lives. Because we have experienced God’s unconditional embrace, we strive to extend that same welcome to all we encounter, living out our faith through welcoming new friends, nurturing old friends, and sharing with those who believe they have no friends.

We celebrate the uniqueness and gifts that each individual brings to our community. Every person, with their own history and journey, deserves a safe place to explore God, life, and faith. Because we aspire to be such a sanctuary, we encourage questions; we rejoice in diversity; we explore different religious expressions; and we are unabashedly Open and Affirming. We support and affirm people of every race, ethnic heritage, nationality, class, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, and ability as children of God. We take our faith and hope to the edge, trusting that God can do immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine.
