MicroEmpowerED

MicroEmpowerED, an affiliate of EduCARE India, is focused on supporting and empowering marginalized individuals and communities through various grassroots projects and initiatives that address a broad range of health, economic, education, environmental and housing issues. Our goal stretches much further than poverty eradication. Through life skills and literacy education, self help groups and environmentally conscious micro finance opportunities, we are striving to enhance people’s capacity to live an enriched, engaged and sustainable life that makes them micro-empowered.

EduCARE India

EduCARE India is a registered NGO that has been working in the field of applied research and rural development since 1994. EduCARE’s vision is to promote pathways to intellectual freedom, social justice, community welfare, economic liberty and sustainable development for individuals, families and social groups. The organization does not receive external financial aid, instead working by a philosophy of self-sustainability and pooling resources from within. EduCARE has five affiliate programs that specialize in different fields; education, empowerment/microfinance, gender issues, health, and the environment.
