Diversity Films

Diversity Films is a new Community Interest Company (CIC), established in April 2007, which aims to work for and promote the elimination of discrimination and inequality based on race, colour, creed, class, ethnic or national origins, religion or belief, gender, martial status, sexuality, disability or age, and to empower and enable individuals and groups to reach their full potential through inclusive training and community-based activities.

Its primary project , the Community Filmmakers project was set up to develop and work with a new generation of filmmakers from new and existing new and existing communities in Glasgow through a programme of structured training workshops, drop-ins and community cinema screenings. Through our projects we aim to provide a platform for these individuals and communities’ distinct voices and visions to be developed, seen and heard on their own terms, and disseminated at a local, national and international level.
