All Hands and Hearts has been addressing the unique needs of families and individuals impacted by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine since March 2022. With a focus on refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs), we are committed to supporting these communities.
The Ukraine Crisis Relief program is situated in the city of Uzhhorod, which is facing considerable strain due to the influx of over 100,000 IDPs. Uzhhorod urgently requires assistance in offering secure housing to displaced families and individuals.
We will collaborate with Uzhhorod University to address this need, which will help accommodate IDPs. Our team has identified two buildings for renovation, with plans to create ten living spaces for families and a designated area for psychosocial support, benefiting over 250 individuals. Alongside construction efforts, we will conduct various engagement activities to support the community further.
Apply to volunteer and join us in Uzhhorod, Ukraine, until May 17, 2024!
