Volunteers from New York Cares and the Coalition For The Homeless are holding a food drive for the Coalition's Grand Central Food Program (GCFP) on Sunday, April 19, from 12:30PM to 5:30PM.

GCFP sends three vans throughout Manhattan and the Bronx seven nights a week, and distributes meals to 1,000+ homeless and low-income individuals/families each night.

We hope that you will be able to make a contribution, even a small amount. The food drive will greatly supplement the quantity of meals we can distribute, as many of our low-income clients and their families are forced to cut back on meals and other general expenses in order to make ends meet each, especially during recent months.

Please feel free to distribute this email and flyer to your family, friends and co-workers.

If you have any questions or would like to request a pick-up, please contact Derron Lee at derron.lee@gmail.com.

Thank You!
