Working with staff from the local Health Clinic ensures the youngest community members are happy healthy and getting stronger every day .....
You can make a positive difference to the next generation... This opportunity is for volunteers with a genuine fondness of children who want to experience what it feels like to help develop underprivileged children. You will work a few days a month at the local Health Clinic in the town of Mangosea and then venturing out to remote rural villages to conduct monitoring and health checks (baby weighing) in the surrounding rural villages not easily accessible by road. The staff from the Ghanaian Health Service ensure the youngest community members are happy healthy and getting stronger every day. So they are heading for a brighter future. This is a rewarding role and could be done in conjunction with another volunteering opportunity.
