The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network envisions a future in which every child learns to respect and accept all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. GLSEN believes that what children learn in our schools is essential to fulfilling our vision. We know that life-shaping lessons are best learned when we are young. Therefore we are dedicated to bringing positive change to every school in every community. We seek change at the grassroots, through building chapters in which individual volunteers work together to make a difference.

GLSEN is a leader and ally in the progressive movement for social justice. We are gay, lesbian, straight, bisexual and transgendered people of all ages.
