The campaign is a grassroots movement designed to promote and support new ideas for a new Africa.
Heard of the ONE campaign or Bono's RED campaign? These efforts are great but are often missing African voices. Everyday, Africans are responding to issues they see in their native countries or communities. However, these projects often go underfunded and lack exposure. Through the campaign, ideas from talented Africans gain widespread awareness & financial support!
The FEBN Campaign does the following:
* Offers financial support via the FEBN Fund to chosen FEBN Fellows chosen by the Black Star Collective (BSC) Foundation.
* Promotes goals and directives collected from young Africans in the Diaspora through the "New Ideas for a New Africa" petition.
*Encourages involvement and "ownership" of Africa's progress amongst youth through the FEBN Campus Contest.
