Description:
A Wider Circle is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering children and adults to break the cycles of poverty and poor health. Our comprehensive wellness programming helps individuals gain greater control of their wellbeing, while the delivery of furniture, home goods and more helps individuals and families meet their basic needs.
The Well Mother, Well Baby Intern will develop and lead programs for teen mothers, covering such topics as stress management, nutrition, financial planning, and parenting skills. Will also recruit community members to teach workshops and mentor participants, and coordinate baby showers for the new mothers.
(Position is not available in the summer semester.)
