Description:
Internship Name: Human Resources Intern
Internship Department: Human Resources
Objective: To assist with the reorganization of the Human Resources filing system, keep Human Resources information current for all staff and create an inclusive Welcome Packet for all new employees.
Responsibilities: Work closely with the Human Resources Coordinator to determine the new filing system, file backlog of materials, update vacation schedules, tally invoices, research HR functions including staff evaluation forms
Final Product(s): A comprehensive Welcome Packet and Orientation for new employees
Qualifications: Able to work with Excel and Word Perfect programs, ability to keep information confidential, can work well with Internet search engines.
Paid/Unpaid: Unpaid
Desired majors: Open to all
Time Commitment: Weekdays – 4 hours a week
Learning Potential: An introduction to the Human Resources Department and its functions
