Purpose:
Manage and execute supplier membership duties and assist Director with VIP membership sponsorships along with other projects to support supplier member relations. Work with Director to oversee progress and growth of Supplier Membership Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
Execute various projects to increase quality of member communications and strengthen member relations. Position mandates high level of service orientated member contact and relationship building in order to retain and grow membership numbers as well as educate existing members.
As a key member of the team, a collaborative spirit is necessary to achieve goals while working with entire supplier relations team, other NACS staff and outside vendors on projects and event planning. Candidate must excel in detailed planning as well as interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Throughout the year, travel to include approximately 4 week-long trips along with three to four short term trips to visit members and represent NACS at attend industry events.
Experience:
Candidate must have 3-4 years minimum of professional experience and a four year degree in related field. Candidates with experience in membership department of trade association preferred. Ideal candidate can excel doing detailed project work as well as be comfortable with outside “soft” sales and executive level interaction. Top level, hands on knowledge of Microsoft office suite of programs including Word, Excel and Power Point as well as excellent grammar skills, detailed proofreading and editing capabilities.
