Description:

Grant Writer & Project Manager:
LAPA is a dynamic and nimble fundraising consulting firm that works with nonprofit clients since 1995. We seek a grant writer & project manager. For the latter you will report to a Senior grantwriter; for the former you will report to the president.
You must be analytical, a super writer, good on the phone, organized, smart, fun and fast. You will be writing, researching and submitting grants based on conversations with the clients. It is fascianting work and everyone on the staff is dedicated to doing our utmost to help our clients.

You will be working with two or three nonprofit clients whose mission is to help people affected by disabilities, cancer, HIV/AIDS, domestice violence, and LGBTQ issues to name a few.

The projects needing management are administrative tasks that arise that need a sharp mind, research, and acute attention to detail. The projects are transitory in nature whereas the grant work is ongoing.

Submit resume, cover letter, three references, a good writing sample:

Experience in cause-marketing a plus but not required.
Did we mention that you need to be a great writer?
