TechnoServe employs a worldwide staff of nearly 700.

Over the past decade TNS has also developed a structured and well-regarded Volunteer Consultant program, through which TechnoServe staffs approximately 100 Volunteer Consultants per year on assignments typically ranging from three to nine months in length. This program benefits TechnoServe’s programs and clients, and also enriches the lives of the volunteers and contributes to the vitality of their institutional homes.

Develop tools for in-country feedback between volunteers and country directors. Facilitate resolution of conflicts or misunderstandings between Volunteer Consultants and host countries, as they arise. Process and analyze feedback from volunteers to improve the program
• Alumni Network. Maintain a database of former volunteers. Produce and disseminate a quarterly or semi-annual newsletter to current and former volunteers to provide updates on the program and post new volunteer opportunities. Foster networking by alumni to expand the network and facilitate periodic re-engagement of alumni.
• Technology: Develop and manage databases as appropriate for different aspects of the program, such as for candidate and/or alumni tracking. Provide the appropriate interface with other TechnoServe systems/databases (such as HRIS or donor databases). Support website enhancement to streamline program activities.
