Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW
Education Pioneers seeks a motivated, efficient, and accomplished Executive Assistant to support the Chief Executive Officer and the National office in the Bay Area. The Executive Assistant will report directly to the CEO and will also have the opportunity to work closely with the Vice President of Strategic Growth and Development and Director of Operations in a support role on an as needed basis. Specific responsibilities are as follows:
Provide High Level Administrative Support
•Provide regular administrative support for the CEO and Vice President of Strategic Growth and Development
•Manage daily schedules, coordinate logistics for meetings and conference calls, arrange travel plans, and complete expense reports
•Take the lead on special projects to assist the Chief Executive Officer and his National Leadership team in meeting ambitious goals for the organization
•Coordinate event logistics for all team retreats and meetings
Create Internal and External Communications
•Conduct research to inform and prepare presentations and materials for meetings with funders, Board of Directors, and internal team meetings
•Draft and edit correspondence to team members as well as to external constituents
•Schedule, coordinate logistics for, and assist CEO in compiling materials for Board meetings
•Manage team information on external website
Responsible for National Office Management
•Manage the day to day operations of the National office in the Bay Area including ordering supplies, filing, and answering the office line
•Support the Director of Operations in financial management including cutting and printing checks, creating invoices, and making regular bank deposits.
•Manage Salesforce database and support the team in leveraging the capabilities of this system in an effective manner that enhances their ability to meet critical objectives
•Take a proactive approach toward improving the efficiency of the National office in the Bay Area
Additional Qualifications:
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor’s Degree
•At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
•Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a positive customer service attitude
•Experience in creating PowerPoint presentations
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
•Strong desire and proven ability to wear multiple hats and carry out a diverse set of job responsibilities
•Comfort with and aptitude for learning new technology systems
•Robust analytical and assessment skills
