Description:
Reporting to and working with the Chief Development Officer, the Development and Alumni Relations Officer is responsible for ensuring the Annual Fund meets or exceeds its goal through direct mail and personal solicitations. The position also works with the Chief Development Officer to implement annual and long range plans; establish strong volunteer programs that ultimately increase alumni and parent giving participation along with increased alumni and parent engagement.

Additional Qualifications:
-At least 3-5 years or related work experience in non-profit/higher education fundraising with expertise in annual fund and alumni development;
-Attention to detail key, along with strong comfort in donor database management (familiarity with Moves Management preferred);
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills required;
-Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and be highly adaptive to change;
-Understanding of basic accounting principles desired
