Description:

Do you have the ability to build business relationships and develop & implement programs to further meet the needs of the community? Easter Seals Greater Washington-Baltimore Region, a regional disability, aging and health organization serving DC, MD & Northern VA and a leader in providing innovative services to persons with disabilities of all ages, seeks a Military and Veterans Program Director to meet the growing needs of wounded service members, veterans, and their families.
The Military and Veterans Program Director is responsible to expand current services to wounded service members, veterans and their families and to implement new services building on Easter Seals’ current assets and facilities and through partnerships and contracts. Key initiatives will include the development, implementation, and expansion of a community-based program dedicated to wounded service members, veterans, and their families. This role will include collaboration and partnership with DoD, VA, Federal/State/Local Agencies, Non-Profit Organizations, Corporations, Foundations, and Individuals.
Additional Qualifications:
Successful candidates will have demonstrated skills of creatively identifying opportunities, developing financial feasibility plans and securing funding for program development and expansion of existing programs. Knowledge of military and veterans services, benefits, and/or service organizations is required.
