Description:
Responsibilities:Supervise tenant outreach workers to help residents with housing issues, including displacement or eviction and implementation of homeownership program; Lead workshops to educate tenants and implement leadership programs; Maintain and track accurate tenant databases, measure program goals and outcomes, prepare reports; Work together with Executive Director to implement strategic planning process and creation of internal administrative systems; help prepare required foundation reports; Work as part of a team to address long-term housing needs of low-income families, a majority of whom are Latino immigrants
Additional Qualifications:
Demonstrated understanding and commitment to social and economic justice through community organizing and leadership development; Skills at organizing tenants and coalition building; Knowledge and experience with popular education methodologies; Experience working with immigrant communities and grass-roots non-profit organizations; Available for weekend and night workshops and meetings; Ability to communicate and write in Spanish
