Description:

Massachusetts’ think-tank is in search of a Development Coordinator for its Boston office. Candidates should be detail-oriented, self-starters, team players, and have solid problem solving skills. They should also have solid computer skills with standard office software (Windows, Microsoft Office including Word and Excel, etc.), and excel in written and oral communication.

Reporting to the Director of Development, the Development Coordinator will be in charge of the following:
- Management of the organization’s fundraising database (Raiser’s Edge) to include:
o Inputting donor and organization gifts, data and related information
o Generating reports (scheduled and as requested)
o Running queries (scheduled and as requested)
o Other tasks as requested
- Supporting the Director of Development, Executive Director, other development staff, and the Director of Finance and Operations
- Some event management tasks
- Manage relations with some vendors to include price negotiations
- Collaboration on development/fundraising strategy

Additional required skills:
- Experience with Raiser’s Edge fundraising software

Additional preferred skills:
- Direct mail experience
- Project management experience
- Similar prior experience in a development/fundraising department of a not-for-profit organization
