Description:
Catholic Schools Foundation Data Coordinator
The Catholic Schools Foundation, Inc. (CSF) supports the educational mission of the Church while helping to provide programs and services that insure optimal educational opportunities for all students regardless of race, religion, national origin, or gender, attending Roman Catholic primary and secondary schools located in the Archdiocese of Boston. In the twenty years since its founding, CSF has partnered with individuals, businesses and foundations to provide scholarships, programs and services that impact over 16,000 students annually in our inner-city and neighborhood schools.
Reporting to the Development Officer, the Data Coordinator is responsible for the maintenance, updating, reporting and general management of the donor database including: gift entry, data maintenance, donor updates, and report generation.
Responsibilities include:
• Processing gifts and preparing acknowledgment letters
• Entering address changes and importing new contacts; supporting staff members making other changes to constituent records
• Maintaining data integrity
• Running regular reports as well as monthly reconciliation with Finance
• Acting as primary contact for AuctionPay Online Donation page, data base vendor, and broker for gifts of securities
• Creating reports and lists as requested
• Performing event tracking and reconciliation
• Training staff on database use
• Developing and maintaining SOP Manual
• Working closely on Annual Report preparation
• Assisting with mailings, events, and allocations
• Liaising with Auditor as necessary
• Conducting prospect research
• Supporting endowment reporting and stewardship as necessary
• Acting as primary back-up for investment reporting, A/P package and tracking, and phones
Requirements:
• Honesty, dependability, and discretion
• A self-starter who learns quickly
• Strong organizational skills and an ability to work independently to meet multiple deadlines.
• Attention to detail and consistency in work product
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel with the ability to learn, use and maintain linked, filtered and formula-driven spreadsheets, mail merges and tables. Raiser’s Edge experience a plus.
• Strong analytical and communications skills
• Ability to perform effectively in a small-office team environment in support of the mission of the Catholic Schools Foundation, Inc.
