Position summary:
The Recruitment Manager will recruit and support the selection of highly skilled and aligned teachers, school leaders and support staff for FirstLine Schools. The Recruitment Manager will work closely with the Director of Talent Management to ensure the ongoing refinement of high quality talent management and human resource systems to support organizational and school growth and improvement.
Responsibilities:
• Recruitment
o Create marketing materials
o Manage advertizing
o Develop and staff recruiting events, fairs and trips
o Manage resume database
o Support Director of Talent Management in developing and maintaining local and national partnerships
o Continual evaluation and improvement of recruitment strategies
• Selection
o Screen resumes
o Manage candidate files
o Conduct phone and in person interviews
o Schedule interviews and school visits
o Support school leaders and candidates through the selection process
o Manage communications during and after the selection process
o Continual evaluation and improvement of selection strategies
• Talent Management
o Develop and manage effective onboarding strategies for new staff
o Managing ongoing communication with new staff during transition
o Assist in developing and leading New Staff Training
o Assist in tracking staff performance to improve recruitment and selection
o Support Human Resources department as assigned
o Special projects as assigned by the Director of Talent Management

Additional Qualifications:

Qualifications:
• BA, MA preferred
• 3-5 years experience in urban, open admissions education, preferably teaching
• 1-2 years experience in leadership/adult management
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Highly organized, able to multitask, and able to respond effectively to multiple stakeholders
• Proficient computer and data management skills
• Ability to work evening and weekend hours
