Description:
The Grant Manager is a newly created position that will help accomodate the rapid growth of this expanding nonprofit. This f/t position will report directly to the Vice President of Operations and will handle receivables and track grant spend-downs for a high-volume of cost-reimbusrement contracts. Specific duties include:
• Prepare monthly billings for all cost-reimbursement contracts.
• Provide reporting information on financial benchmarks for each contract
• Monitor budget to actual spending of contracts and ensure managers have a clear picture of available funds.
• Ensure invoiced expenditures are in accordance with contract budgetary requirements.
• With the VP of Operations, maintain payroll allocations on a bi-weekly basis.
Additional Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree and 2 years experience in grants management and finance, or equivalent education and experience along with knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook and accounting software preferably QuickBooks. Prior nonprofit experience a plus.
