Mission:

It is the Mission of Women Uplifting Women's Ministry (WUWM) to provide help to families in crisis. To this end, WUWM will provide information on shelters, health issues, family matters, funeral arrangements, incarceration, and other information as desired. Also family and individual counseling will be provided as well as life skills training, educational enrichment, conflict resolution, and mentoring. This Organization will contact government and public officials on behalf of families in crisis to bring about a quick resolution to their problems. Research and investigations will be done to ensure that all information has been delivered promptly to families, and intervention by this Organization was successful.

WUWM is also dedicated to providing seminars, meetings, briefings, church services, counseling and mentoring to inform, educate, and to spiritually, mentally, physically uplift God's people. It is the belief of this Organization as it came be read in 2 Peter 3:10-14, "We don't know if it is a thousand years away or tomorrow. But Jesus is coming." Peter paints a vivid and shocking picture of the consummation of time. Like a thief in the night, Jesus will return, the heavens and the earth will be consumed and a new order will begin. A new heaven and earth will replace the old. Yet this news does not seem to be the focal point of Peter's teaching. It comes down to seven simple words: What kind of person should you be? Peter calls us to invest our energy in living "spotless, blameless" lives (2 Peter 3:14). Our confidence that Jesus will return is not meant to draw us, into complex speculations on when and where and how. Rather, it should move us into godly living that will honor him and empower us to reach those who do not yet know his grace.
