Uncommon Schools is a nonprofit charter management organization that represents the joint vision and collaborative efforts of the founders of some of the nation’s best recognized and highest performing charter schools, including: North Star Academy (Newark, NJ), Boston Collegiate Charter School (Boston, MA), Roxbury Preparatory Charter School (Boston, MA), and Academy of the Pacific Rim (Boston, MA). Now we’re looking to harness this historic moment by launching more than 30 small, urban charter schools over the next decade – schools that will individually help all students prepare for college and collectively demonstrate that we know how to change the odds for 10,000 students, not just 100.
