Mission:

Created in 2003, SKIP is a British non-profit organization helping economically-disadvantaged children in El Porvenir to realize their right to an education.
We are currently working with children, teenagers and families living in the impoverished districts that surround the city of Trujillo, north coast of Peru,. Our primary work area, El Porvenir, demonstrates a great deal of social problems.
We promote quality education and foster the capacity of children and families to be the principal agents of change in their own lives.
We work in partnership with families through holistic programs focusing on the educational, economic, emotional and social development of each child and family.

We are always looking for social workers, youth workers, psychologists, teachers, nursery staff, communications specialists, translators, economic development monitors, journalists and people with enthusiasm for the work that we are doing, to help us.
