Mission:
Intercommunity Action (Interac), is a private, not for profit, health and human service agency established in 1969.
Through its more than 30 programs, Interac's staff of over 400 professionals, para-professionals and support staff provide a wide variety of services that focus on its mission "to provide exemplary services in the areas of Behavioral Health, Developmental Disabilities and Aging, for the purpose of assisting people to achieve their maximum potential and enhancing their quality of life".
Structurally, Interac is composed of three service divisions: Aging, Developmental Disabilities, and Behavioral Health. Interac's divisions are supported by a central Administrative unit, and the agency is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Interac is an equal opportunity employer.
