Sasi Foundation Executive Chairman Mr.Firoz Shroff has been nominated as President of HOMELAND INTERNATIONAL INC www.homelandinternationalinc.org a Canadian non profit charitable organization. Mr.Shroff also is also Chairman of UNACTO (United Nations Association of Canada-Toronto)Pro-Team committee that formulated new professionally managed organization with the assistance and guidance from UNAC Ottawa. He has been selected as President of UNACTO in October 2005. He was also a founder and sponsoring member and Vice Chairman and major contributor to revive United Nations Association of Pakistan UNAP.
The foundation was incorporated in 1999 in Karachi and Chaired by the head of the family Mr. Firoz Shroff. Mr. Shroff is a Canadian resident and immigrant based in Toronto. The Shroff family globally supports the Social EntrepreneurSHIP objectives. The Shroffs are a visionary mercantile and business family originating from the Indian sub-continent, who can trace their social and entrepreneurial experience and history back to 1877, during the British Raj. Through their family’s branded umbrella SASI, the Shroff family has developed a global network of affiliates to support and expand their Entrepreneurial business and philanthropic activities. The family has established global presence and affiliates, in Canada, Kenya, South Africa, UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Dubai, Australia, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, China and Bangladesh.
The family provides capital resources, equity, seed capital to non-profit and for profit ventures to disseminate the Social Entrepreneurship program globally. The family is establishing its research offices in Toronto-Canada, Mumbai-India, Dubai-UAE, Nairobi-Kenya, Florida-USA, London-UK and Karachi-Pakistan.
The mission statement is to promote Social Entrepreneurship by providing capital, intellectual resources, mentoring and entrepreneurship programs as social ecotomic currency to partner with non profits and for profits organizations.
The family under Social Entrepreneurship process has ability to create, enhance, and originate values in public listed companies, new ventures and businesses with global perpectives. The Shroff's also formulate joint ventures, social strategic and synergic alliances to develop new Programs for Global Business expansion by matching commerce and philanthropy into self sustaining entities.
The non profit has been created to guide the way for the new dynamism and approach to philanthropy, charity and social contribution under SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP program.
They encourage innovative SE practices and leadership qualities. They are focus on discovering treatments to social challenges by combining the power of giving and ability of creating financial values through commerce to overcome the many social ills in the communities. They plan to find the equilibrium between those who have those in need and those that aspire to make a difference by COMBINING PHILANTHROPY WITH COMMERCIAL PRACTICE to achieve social objectives.

The foundation was created through a mandate by The Shroff family Deed of Trust in 1999 registered in Karachi to support Social Entrepreneurship activities globally. The founders, trustees and sponsors are well-respected, globally experienced and successful corporate leaders, philanthropists, seasoned entrepreneurs, lawyers, bankers, par excellence businessman and real estate developers. The group invites partnership ventures with professional individuals experienced as President, CEO’s COO and CFO, CIO to whom they will provide start-up equity, business resources and social entrepreneurship ventures.

ISRAIL MENAI Head Office based
He received his M.A from Madras. LL.B and LL.M from Osmania University, India, Masters in Law and International Affairs from Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy - Harvard University, USA in 1954. Israil has attended courses on International Organization, American, Russian and Near Eastern Diplomacy and International Trade and Monetary Theories. He also attended the course in International Law held at Peace Palace, at Hague, Holland under the auspices of International Court of Justice. His existing practice now mostly consists of counseling, mentoring, advising and consulting The Schroff family for four generation with whom he has been attached for more than five decades. Has interest is in creating a personal library.
FIROZ SHROFF – Toronto - Canada Based
He specializes in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, international capital market, futures options, derivatives, investment banking and corporate management. He has over 35 year’s hands on experience in the operation of businesses in retailing, real estate, construction and investments. He has restructuring experience in both privately and publicly held companies. During his career, he has handled transactions in substantial ten figures for investors and his family own account. Biographical information in world-renowned publications such as Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in finance and industry, Who’s Who in the World and The Men of Achievement and Honor List and many others. Interest lies in walking, reading, traveling and coaching and discussing Social Entrepreneurship processes. He has been instrument in reviving United Nations Association of Pakistan UNAP after being dormant for 40 years as First founding Vice President.
ABBAS A.SHROFF Head Office based
He specializes in operations, Taxation Real Estate Finance, Construction, Treasury and Capital Market functions with 25 years of professional and practical experience in various businesses. He has strong hand on management, marketing, corporate affairs experience. He is practical and widely traveled personality. He has turned around various enterprises, groups and companies from a near bankruptcy level to successful dynamic business entities. During his 30 years career he has developed, designed and participated as real estate developer in project that would totally exceed tens of million sq feet. He has participated in transactions involving substantial nine figures during this period. Abbas comes from third generation of business, mercantile, banking, trading and entrepreneurial background. He is life member of Art Council, Member of Gymkhana, Association of Developers and Publishers and Booksellers Association. His personal interests are socializing, education and traveling.
PETER THOMAS YEE - New York - USA based
Mr. Peter Yee received a Bachelor of Science in Finance & International Business from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University, and a Diploma with Honors from Fordham Preparatory School, New York. He has over 10 years experience in real estate and is associated with the third largest real estate firm in New York, The Charles H. Greenthal Group of Companies, USA. Mr. Yee worked as a Strategic Management Consultant for the theatrical group, thedramaloft, in New York. He is attached with Cantor-Fitzgerald Relief Fund effort and NYU's Center for Health Promotions. Mr. Yee is a member of the Executive Team at Sasi Foundation and participates to assist in establishing Sasi Foundation’s Social Entrepreneurship agenda globally.
