Mission:
Prevent youth violence and generate youth leadership in California communities. Youth ALIVE! runs programs in the two CA cities with the highest rates of gun violence: Oakland and Los Angeles. Since 1991, Youth ALIVE! has worked to stop youth gun volence through:
preventing youth violence before it starts,
interventing to stop the cycle of violence
in hospitals and at schools,
advocating for laws that help stop the violence.
