Research!America is a national not-for-profit, membership-supported advocacy and public education alliance founded in 1989. Our 500 member organizations represent the voices of 100+ million Americans who want medical and health research to be a higher national priority. We lead the movement for strong, increased investment in the budgets of the National Institutes of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and are committed to growth in research investment at other federal health research agencies. We seek to achieve funding for medical and health research in the public and private sectors at a level warranted by scientific opportunity and supported by public opinion.
